Crunch Fitness - Murfreesboro

I have come from Gold's gym to Crunch Fitness. I love how clean and smooth the machines are. I also love how much equipment there is. It's a motherload of fitness equipment. I've only been here for about a week and love it already. I even ask myself why I stayed at gold's for as long as I did! Do yourself a favor and come get your body goals at one of the best gyms around.

To say that I thought going from Olympus (which continues to try to charge me for memberships that I canceled) would be a breath of fresh air because the facility has actual Wi-Fi that works and a sauna that is modernized was short lived. I got charged multiple fees I wasn't informed about when signing up (typical bait and switch), and the sauna (which is the main reason I joined Crunch) has been "broken" for almost a month. Typically most gyms I've been a member of fix the sauna within 48 hours...Crunch not only drags their feet but management has no clue why it's taking so long and none of the time frames they have said that the sauna "would be working again" have been true. Them not actively fixing amenities of the gym (or having a plan to safeguard to where "members" can't break the sauna again) should be more than enough of a viable reason to void my contract, so July 2024 cannot come soon enough. I finally found a gym worse than Olympus. Save your money.

The facility itself is okay. I used it once or twice while commuting to MTSU. But when I moved they made it impossible to cancel. I live an hour away now and I have to drive 2hr round trip just to cancel? I’ve worked in gyms for years and I know that this is simply them just not willing to be accommodating and keeping my $17 to go towards their monthly membership sales goal. Insane.

Just stopped by Crunch fitness and was VERY impressed! A young man name Blake helped me and he was extremely professional and helpful. His customer service skills were top notch! The facility was very clean and the equipment looked very nice. Definitely going to bring my partner back for a tour and will be signing up with a membership.

Been a member of this gym for 2 years and never had any issue until recently. First issue, an employee mixed up my info with another members. When we noticed, I asked her 3 times to make sure mine and the other members card info wasn’t swapped and she told me there was no way it would do that, even told her the card she had on my file didn’t sound familiar. Two weeks later I’m getting charged $240 for someone else’s PT sessions just a few days before rent was due. It has since been refunded. 2nd issue - I attended the free 1hr kick off PT session that they offered me on 3 separate occasions. At the end the PT, Nick, was so predatory and pushy about getting me to sign the contract. He ended up going 30 min past the session, while someone else was behind us waiting on their session to start, just pushing for a signature. I signed up but reached out the next day requesting to cancel. The contract legally gives a person 7 days to cancel. I have sent three emails total to two separate people, called multiple times, and even sent an official letter by mail requesting cancellation as the contract states to do. It’s been 13 days and still no correspondence from anyone. Will update when issue is resolved.

I was a member of this Crunch for nearly 2 years. Until a couple of days ago I had no issues. I have bought multiple energy drinks along with waters and have never been charged for a bottle of water. I was even explicitly told waters are free by a couple of staff members at different times. February 5th I had taken a water from the cooler as I had done a multitude of times when I forget my own and continued to work out. About a half hour or so after I get the water team member Abby M. approaches me in an extremely rude manner DIRECTLY after she had watched me finish a 100+ lb lift with my arms. She asks if my water is from up front and after I say yes she rudely states that everything in the cooler costs money so I tell her I was unaware and that I had been told otherwise, this seemed to upset her more, but I understand miscommunications happen, so I told her that I would come up and pay in a moment as I was still winded from my set. I walk up to the counter to pay and she had stepped into the managers office and come back out to help me, when I was trying to explain why I thought the water didn't cost anything she got increasingly upset, asked me who told me this and when, rolled her eyes when I gave her an answer, and (again) rudely informed me that everything in the cooler costs money AND that she had watched me do it multiple times on multiple visits, at this point my question is why am I being profiled as the water thief?? And why wasn't something said the first time she saw me as that could have prevented this entire situation. Also the fact that she waited 20-30 minutes to approach me during my workout because obviously she knows my face? I want to reiterate that paying for a $2 bottle of water was NOT the issue it was Miss Abby M's attitude, it was quite frankly unacceptable and unnecessary for what was obviously a mistake. It's not like I was taking energy drinks or tanning lotion, it was water, like to any regular person that's an obvious misunderstanding. I have several gym memberships around Murfreesboro and have never dealt with such a snobby front desk associate anywhere. Noteworthy is that I came in and decided to cancel my membership the next day and Abby M. was the one at the counter, she was super rude about cancelling it, didn't explain anything about the cancellation, and wouldn't really even look at me. If you're into working out but also getting treated bad by staff over a simple mistake this is the place for you! She is fully the reason I decided to cancel my membership after being with you guys so long and I hope she gets a break or whatever she needs to get her attitude in check.

I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to try crunch for the weekend- I was NOT disappointed. All the equipment was clean and new. The gym had a bunch of amenities and I didn’t have to wait for any machines. Special shout out to Christina- she was super kind and went out of her way to help me with the kids zone. Highly recommend this gym!

Started going here in June of this year, have worked with PT’s from the beginning and don’t have a bad thing to say. I’ve seen great results that I’ve never been able to achieve before coming here. I currently work with Conner and am highly impressed with his knowledge and ability to push you but make it fun all at once. I never thought working out could be enjoyable but I look forward to every session now! Would highly recommend! 10/10
